- Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu [1340m].
Upon arrival in the TIA (Tribhuvan International Airport) in the Kathmandu, will be greeted by a representative of Nepal Travels who will drop us at our hotel. After checking in we can walk the street of Thamel, a tourist hub on the Kathmandu Valley, evening meeting at hotel with guide and short briefing for our next activities. - Day 2 : Kathmandu, sightseeing and trek preparation
After breakfast, we start our tour to several most popular historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. UNESCO World Heritage sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the scared Hindus shrines of Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath known as monkey temple, and Buddhist shrine Boudhanath one of the largest stupas in the world listed as the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Also, there will be pre-trip group discussion followed by trek preparation during the afternoon after 2 pm. Overnight in Kathmandu Included meal (Breakfast).
- Day 3 : Drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola [710m] 9hrs.
Early in the morning set for Sotikhola drive, during our drive, we enjoy a view of the Nepalese countryside along with the mountain sceneries. We will drive on a paved road from Kathmandu to Dhading Bensi. But the driving from Dhading bensi to Arughat will be off-road. Upon reaching Arughat a major town in the region we drive further towards Sotikhola. Overnight at Sotikhola Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
- Day 4 : Sotikhola- Maccha Khola [900m] 7hrs
After breakfast we crossing of the bridge, trek through the beautiful sal forests trail ascend onto a ridge above huge rapids on the Budhi Gandaki. Upon reaching Khursane the rocky trail weaves its way up and down pass tropical waterfalls on a steep, rocky trail climbing to the side of a cliff. Finally makes its ways way down and pass few rice terraces and around Gurung village of Labu bensi, further climb behind a rocky outcrop, where the valley opens up and the Budhi Gandaki. Dropping to the sandy river walk along rounded stones before climbing over a side ridge. We still head down again to the river and cross another suspension bridge to reach Machha Khola village. - Day 5 : Trek Maccha Khola to Jagat [1410m] 7hrs.
The trail makes ups and downs and eventually crosses Tharo Khola reach Khotlabensi. In our trek, we ascend and descends across a small hot spring in Tatopani. From here we climb over another ridge then cross the Budhi Gandaki on a suspension bridge, we trek over on a wide-crafted staircase, then across a landslide and over a point to Dobhan. We crossing a suspension bridge over the Yaru Khola, climb another stone stairs then drop to the river and climb more stones stairs to the Tharo Bharyang. Trek continues to the west bank of the Budhi Gandaki walks along the river climb up towards the village of Jagat. Overnight in Jagat Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
- Day 6 : Trek Jajat to Deng [1804m] 7hrs
Today, trek climbing over the rocky edge to Salleri and descend to Sirdibas. The valley and the trail continue up to Ghatta Khola, more forth continue trek upstream to a long suspension bridge in Philip where a large Gurung village. Our trek turns north just above the lowest house in the village and rest for some time for tea and trail as it crosses millet fields to Ekle Bhatti. Now the trail enters a steep isolated gorge at this point, we trek down to grassy land slope passes the Budi-Gandaki, trek along the west bank for a while then to cross the east bank. We continue through the trail the valley widens and we pass through a bamboo forest to the Deng Khola, we reach the tiny village of Deng. Overnight in Deng Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
- Day 7 : Trek Deng to Namrung [2630m] 7hrs.
After breakfast we head toward Namrung, cross the Budhigandaki and climb to Rana, from the suspension bridge our trailhead west up the Budhigandaki valley. The trail passes through forests and mani where we turn towards a corner that contour to Ghap. Even though there is another route, we take the route through pork village. This village has a viewpoint for a beautiful sight of Sriingi Himal. We keep crosses Budi Gandaki river several times and come across several Gompas en route. Today our trek follows the river upstream through a dense forest after crossing the river at an impressive spot where it thunders down a narrow gorge, the forest becomes less dense and the trail is easy again. The comfortable walk continues and after a last steep climb, we get Namrung. Overnight in Namrung Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Day 8 : Namrung to Samagaon [3530m] 7hrs.
Namrung is the best viewpoint for Siring and Ganesh Himal, from the village one, can see Mt. Himal Chuli in the south. We climb up to pass through forests and reach Lihi village the trek drop down, crosses the side valley of Simnang Himal with Ganesh Himal which is closed by. We further pass through Sho, Lho, and Shyala villages before reaching Sama village, enjoy with unexpected views of Manaslu from Lho village we could explore the famous Ribung Gompa. In Shyala we will be surrounded by High Mountain Himal Chuli and peak 29 Ngadi Chuli to the left, Manaslu and Large glacier straight ahead us and snow summits to the right at the far ends Ganesh Himal is standing we reach Samagaon. - Day 9 : Samagaon to Pungyen Samagaon Excursion
Today we will be spending our day in Samagaon exploring surrounding, rest and acclimatization. Today we enjoy the rich Sherpa culture visit thousand of Mani stones with Buddhist texts and pictures. The Sherpa women clad in traditional clothes and ornaments on a little hill near the Sama village as an old monastery with great views of the glacier it names after Manaslu, Pungyen means bracelet description of the two peaks. This was destroyed a year after the first unsuccessful Japanese attempt to climb Manaslu. Local people believed that the climb angered the gods, when the Japanese came back a year later they met with a lot of resistance that they had to give up their attempt. - Day 10 : Samagaon to Samdo [3860m] 5hrs.
Today we trek down to the Budigandaki river which has turned north; follow it to a bridge, the trail to the left lead to Manaslu Base Camp. The Larkya la route passes several mani walls as the valley extend, it is the finest trail on a shelf above the river passing the juniper and the birch forests of Kermo Kharka, still, cross Budhigandaki on a wooden bridge and climb steeply onto a promontory between two forks of the river. We finally pass Kani reach Samdo. Overnight in Samdo Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch /Dinner).
- Day 11 : Rest in Samdo [3860m] and explore surrounding
This is second days we have set aside for proper acclimatization. Today we hike one of the trade passes to Tibet for excellent views of Manaslu along with other Himalayan ranges including Simran, Hiunchuli, Gadi, Larkye Peak, Cheo and others possibly Kang Guru behind the pass. The trail to this viewpoint we pass many seasonal herding settlements called doksas and sight beautiful outstanding Himalayan Griffin soaring high above us. - Day 12 : Samdo to Dharmasala via Larkya Base Camp [4460m] 5hrs
Today we trek down to the edge, cross the wooden bridge over the Budhi Gandaki and walking upward, upon crossing few streams and witnessing the Larkya glacier, walk around the valley of the Salka Khola and climb up again to the stone guest house at the altitude of (4450m) which is not for a lodge but kind of shelter called Dharmasala known Larkya Phedi. The short walk and leaves plenty of time to relax in the afternoon. Overnight in Dharmasala Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
- Day 13 : Trek Dhatmashala to Larkya La [5160m] via Bimthang [3720m] 9hrs.
Today hard and longest walk in our trek, we trek uphill to the north side of Larkya glaciers from where we can enjoy great views of Cho Danda and Larkya peak walm across moraines of the glacier making gradual ascent which become steeper only in the last section from the pass there are outstanding views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kangguru and the large Annapurna 2nd as it is longest days than the usual to Bimtang, walking in the low pastures in the evening mist coming in with Manaslu looming closed by is an overwhelming experience. - Day 14 : Bumthang to Tilije [2300m] 6hrs.
Today during our trey we enjoy the great views of Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, Himlung Himal. The trail down further and crossing a high pasture followed by a bridge over Dudh Khola, we walk through rhododendron forest and follow a trail through a narrow valley until we reach a highest cultivated land of the valley at Karche. We pass across fields making a steep up over and the trail comes off the ridge in a big, sweeping curve to the river bank a short distance past is the village of Gho. Due to long walk yesterday guide can suggest staying Gho but for the better guest house are available in Tilije. Overnight in Tilije Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
- Day 15 : Tilije to Tal [1700m] 6hrs
Today we walk over easy the stone paved trail passes several beautiful villages cross the bridge over Dudh Khola short climb up through a chorten-shaped arch, pass a mani wall reach to Thonje village in the village we pass through a police check post continue to Dharapani. From Dharapani we entered the Annapurna circuit section then we further continue down we come to the Karta village. After few hrs walking we cross suspension bridge of Marshyangdi, come across mani walls before reaching the village of Tal situated at the foot of a large waterfall. Overnight at Tal Included meal (breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
- Day 16 : Trek Tal to Syange [1080m] 7hrs.
Trek leads to Chyamje village crossing the Marshyangdi Khola, The Marshyangdi valley opens with its terrace field and villages. The trek descends through rhododendron an pine forest to Syange. Overnight at Syange (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
- Day 17 : syange to Kathmandu 9hrs drive.
Today after breakfast drive to Kathmandu via Bensisahar over one an opportunity to enjoy hill and mountain landscapes. Drive is often Marshyangdi and Trishuli Rivers. In route, we drive some beautiful villages and farming terraces both sites of the road. Arrive Kathmandu can either be spent in leisure or can walk for last minutes shopping. Our Nepal adventure holidays finish in the evening we will have farewell dinner in the typical restaurant.
- Day 18 : Final Departure.
