Bardiya National Park, the largest untouched wilderness is one of the most famous destinations to experience real wilderness adventure in the Terai region of western Nepal. It is one of the largest protected areas that has covered 968km2 (374sq mi) area of Terai. Around 70 percent of the area is filled with the beautiful Sal trees and rest of the 30 percent is with whispering grassland, savannah, and riverine forest. This beautiful National park is boarder with the stunning Geruwa and Karnali Rivers which is spectacular to explore. The Bardiya National Park offers you to explore the various rare and endanger wildlife. Bardiya National Park is famous habitat for the endangers and rare wildlife such as; the wild Elephants, rhinoceros, tiger, gharial crocodile, marsh mugger crocodile, swamp deer, black buck, and Gangetic dolphin. The Bardiya National Park has recorded more than 30 varied mammals, more than 250 bird’s species and many snakes, Lizards, and fish. You can also witness endangered birds such as; the Sarus crane, Bengal florican, lesser florican, and Silver-eared mesia during your jungle safari tour. You can witness a good number of resident and migratory birds’ species in this park.
Starting from the Kathmandu, after exploration of the Kathmandu Sightseeing such as; Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swyambhunath and Kathmandu Royal Durbar Square. This tour will provide you a real charm while encountering an unforeseen blend of Hindu and Buddhist tribal traditions, tremendous architecture and antiquity behind the monuments We will take a scenic flight to Nepalgunj after explorations of Valley. Around 45 minutes flight offers us breath-taking scenery below us and take us to the near Indian border. As you reach to Nepalgunj, you need to drive around one and half hours to reach Bardiya National Park. After exploration of the park, you can stroll around the ethnic Tharu villages and enjoy exploring their unique culture and traditions. Finally, as you finished your tour then you can return back to Kathmandu by following the same route.Short Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport.
Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing
Day 03: Fly to Nepalgunj and drive 2 hours to Bardia.
Day 04: Jungle Activities as planned by the hotel, including Jungle Safari.
Day 05: Full Day Activities in Bardia National Park and visit Karnali River.
Day 06: Drive back to Nepalgunj and fly to Kathmandu.
Day 07: Kathmandu Rest Day and enjoy farewell dinner
Day 08: Final Departure.
