Tilicho Lake Trekking is among the famous trekking in Annapurna region, collects glacial melt of the entire northern slopes of Annapurna and Throng peak claimed to be the highest lake in the world. In 2001, Hindus pilgrims from the world flocked to the lake convinced it is a holy spot mention in Ramayana- a holy book in the Hindus.
Tilicho Lake Trekking in the Annapurna Region Trek starts from Besisahar as Annapurna Circuit Trekking followed the Marshyangdi river with great views of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and HiubChuli to the east. This wonderful Tilicho lake trekking leads us the fine village inhabited by a wide range diversity of people from different ethnic groups which offer magnificent views of white mountains. We can customize the route for this trek as Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Base Camp. Once you reach Manang you can see small airstrip some time we can take charter flight and it is beautiful valley than trek continues to north Tanki Manang and Yak Kharka trail goes to the main valley to the west passes through the Khanshar village (the last village on Nepal) and trek up to Tilicho Lake. We travel to Yak Kharka the then pass Throng – La at an altitude of 5416m. Once we cross Throng La pass trek lead down to Muktinath- Jomsom from where 35 minutes scenic flights take you to Pokhara.

  • Day 2 : A full day Kathmandu sightseeing and trek preparation.

    The next morning, after breakfast you will be taken for a full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley. You can visit the center of pilgrimage Pashupatinath Temple and Swyambhunath, Boudhanath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square an ancient UNESCO World Heritage sites. The biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath might make you feel calm and peace and visit Patan the city of fine arts and Durbar Square is full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments. On our journey back to the hotel, you can explore the local areas and lifestyle. After your dinner, you can perhaps take the leisurely stroll through the famous streets like Thamel and Durbarmarg.   • Day 3 : Drive to Chamje [1400m] 5-6 hrs.

    Early in the morning, we will travel by road from Kathmandu to Chemje village the starting point of our trek. Chamje is a small village in the Annapurna region. There is a waterfall which is an attraction for visitors and locals. The greenery beautiful around will give energy to trek ahead. Overnight in Chamje (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).

  • Day 4 : Trek from Chamje to Dharapani [1960m] 6hrs.

    Our trek start early in the morning the trail takes us through various vegetable plantations, waterfalls and mixed communities they are believed to migrate from Tibet. After crossing suspension bridge below Chamje and climbing, we reach the village of Tal. From Tal, we enter the Manang District the trail continues through Kodo village and walk on the trail that rises and falls, cute across a mountainside to one of the biggest village in the Manang, Dharapani. Overnight Dharapani Included meal (Lunch/Dinner/Breakfast).

  • Day 5 : Dharapani to Chame [2710m] 6hrs.

    After breakfast, we negotiate a few steps, forested ridges along with several landslides on route to Chame, just above, as we will be greeted with remarkable views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, IV, (7525m). We also come across small hot spring which will be the sweet respite and helps to relax sometime. Chame is the headquarter of Manang District. Overnight at Chame included meal (Lunch/Dinner/Breakfast).

  • Day 6 : Chema to Pisang [3300m] 6hrs.

    Today the trail ascend and descend passing continue several rivers and lightly populated settlements walk through a steep and narrow valley to have our first views of Paungda Danda rock face, a dramatic curved rock face rising 1500m from the river. From here we also see an excellent view of Annapurna II to the south and Pisang peak to the northeast. The trail descends to the Manang Valley enjoy for the day captivating landscape. Overnight in Pisang Includes meals (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).

  • Day 7 : Pisang to Manang [3500m] 7hrs.

    After breakfast our trek begins from Pisang, there are two routes to Manang, we will be choosing through upper Pisang via Geru as one of the greatly outstanding views of Annapurna, Pisang Peak, and others. As we are closed to Manang as we feel much colder and drier. Also on the ways, you can visit Barge Monastery which is one of the largest Monasteries in Manang.   • Day 8 : Manang to Khangsar [3845m] 3hrs

    The trek continues up to the village of Khangsar, as our trek ahead, the route cuts down through a gorge and the Tilicho peak can be spotted in clouds little bit far above. We enjoyed the natural beauty of the Annapurna Himalayan range all along the way, also pass through small scenic settlements and the Tore Monastery and get to enjoy the breathtaking Khangsar River.   • Day 9 : Khangsar to Tilicho Lake Base Camp [4140m] 6hrs.

    An early morning the trek begins from Khangsar to Tilicho Lake Base Camp, we walk along the grassy fields we make climb up a small hill, witness the glorious views of the entire valley. After a trek down a steep inclination, you now enter the Tilicho Base Camp. Here we have only camping option as there are not many guesthouses. Overnight at Tilicho Base Camp Included meal (Lunch/Breakfast/Dinner).

  • Day 10 : Visit Tilicho Lake [4949m] trek back to base camp 6hrs.

    Early in the morning we trek to Tilicho Lake enjoy with the spectacular views of Tilicho, Nilgiri, Khangsar and Muktinath Peaks are always close by cheering us up. Upon reaching Tilicho Lake one of the highest lakes in the world, we get to admire it's tranquil. Sometimes reflection of the surrounding peaks is seen on its turquoise water at other times the lake remains frozen. Enjoy the days beside the calm waters and soak –in outstanding views before heading back to the base camp. Overnight at Tilicho Base camp Include meal ( Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).

  • Day 11 : Trek Tilicho Base Camp to Yak Kharka [4040m] 5hrs.

    Today when we trek back from Tilicho Base Camp the route leads out of the Marshyangdi River valley and immediately change in surroundings trees replaced more alpine vegetation. Our trek continues through the ruins of the old Khangsar village until we cross a log bridge over the river between Gumsang and Yak Kharka. The typical Himalayan village of Yak Kharka is an accolade to its Name. Where you can see are grazing and standing around. From here we also can see breathtaking Annapurna II. Overnight at Yak Kharka Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).

  • Day 12 : Trek Yak Kharka to Thorang Phedi [4420m] 4hrs.

    Today after breakfast our trek begins uphill to Thorang Phedi. After walking for some time we cross a suspension bridge reach Ledar village, further passing towering cliffs before getting Thorang Phedi, the last village before Thorang La Pass. In this trip, you can see one of the best views of Mt. Gundang, Mt. Standing, Thorang Peak and Mt. Khatungken. Meaning of Phedi in Nepalese is referred to as the foot of a mountain. Overnight in Thorang Phedi Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).

  • Day 13 : Trek Thorang Phedi to Muktinath [3800m] via Thorang La pass [5416m] 7hrs.

    Today is harder and longest trek, crossing Thorang La pass is one of the highest passes I the world, will be our ultimate objective. Throughout our trekking, we have been crossing many passes from east to west Manang to Muktinath which is easiest and safest direction. Since we have realized that our journey was worth it, we take some pictures before heading to Muktinath Valley at the foot of the Thorang La pass. Overnight in Muktinath Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).

  • Day 14 : Muktinath to Jomsom [2715m] 6hrs.

    Muktinath Temple, an ultimate destination for Hindus and Buddhist Pilgrims is a beautiful place. We visit Temple of Muktinath before embarking in the trek ahead. The water sounds where fresh water pours out channeled from streams right above the temple. As the trek extends we enjoy the magnificent views of Mt. Dhaulagiri White Mountain. Here you can buy a fossilized mollusk called “Saligram” as a memento. Continues heading among meadows, cross several streams and small hills over kagbeni village and over to Jomsom on the Kali Gandaki Valley as the trail cuts through windy areas Overnight in Jomsom Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).

  • Day 15 : Fly From Jomsom to Pokhara [823m] 30mins

    After breakfast, we fly to Pokhara. The flight itself is spectacular, we looking at views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan ranges and over the deepest gorge in the world Kaligandaki. The warmer climate in Pokhara will definitely make us feeling batter; we take a boat ride in the serene waters of the lake with reflection of Fishtail Mountain on its water. Visit Davis falls. In the evening we can stroll around the lakeside areas and buy souvenirs’ for love once. Overnight at Pokhara. Included meal (Breakfast).

  • Day 16 : After Breakfast flies or drive to Kathmandu

    If you willing to take flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu will take 30 minutes and drive duration will be 5-6 hrs by the private vehicle also we have tourist buses departure every day in the morning to Kathmandu from Pokhara this is an optional transport. In the evening our team will arrange farewell dinner at Nepalese restaurant celebrate the successful complementation of our journey. Overnight at Kathmandu Included meal (Breakfast/Dinner).

  • Day 17 : Final Departure

    Our official representative takes us to Kathmandu International Airport for the next flight schedule to 3 hrs earlier than the scheduled time. Included meal (Breakfast).

A full day Kathmandu sightseeing and trek preparation

The next morning, after breakfast you will be taken for a full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley.
