Tsum Valley trek is the secret Tibetan Buddhist land lying at the edge of one of the most schedule Himalayan valleys. In Manaslu region, Tsum valley trekking is one of the world’s remote unspoiled Himalayan valleys which come to restrict region. Trek to Tsum valley takes you into the majestic surrounding of the Ganesh Himal, Srini Himal, and Boudha Himalayan range. The region looks completely different and being part of Tibet. The People of Tsum Valley Tsumbas belong to Tibetan origin with their culture, lifestyle, and religion. Very few number of adventure travelers made this trek every year and of this mysterious valley which used to be important trade link with Tibet. Tsum Valley lies on the northern part of Manaslu and used to restrict area until 2008. The region is still less exposed in comparison to other trekking areas, with relatively virgin and less beaten paths in comparison to another region. Tsum people have their own way of family life which is quite surprising for many outsiders. All the brothers in the family are married to a single girl what you may call a practice of Polyandry. Tsum Valley trekking start and ends point is Arughat a day drive from Kathmandu, our trek up to Budhi Gandaki valley on a good trail through a mix dense forest agricultural terrace and village. In Tsum valley trek we feel virgin hidden valley during our trek we pass through the alpine forest, glacier, glacial river enjoy with the warm hospitality of ethnic people. During the trek we also visit the ancient Gompas explore local Tibetan and Nepalese culture.

  • Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu [1340m].

    Upon arrival in the TIA (Tribhuvan International Airport) in the Kathmandu, will be greeted by a representative of Nepal Travels who will drop us at our hotel. After checking in we can walk the street of Thamel, a tourist hub in the Kathmandu Valley, evening meeting at the hotel with a guide and short briefing for our next activities. Overnight in Kathmandu Included meal.

  • Day 2 : Kathmandu, sightseeing and trek preparation

    After breakfast, we start our tour to several most popular historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. UNESCO World Heritage sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the scared Hindus shrines of Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath known as monkey temple, and Buddhist shrine Boudhanath one of the largest stupas in the world listed as the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Also, there will be pre-trip group discussion followed by trek preparation during the afternoon after 3 pm. Overnight in Kathmandu Included meal (Breakfast).

  • Day 3 : Drive Kathmandu to Arughat 7hrs drive.

    Early in the morning set for Sotikhola drive, during our drive, we enjoy the view of the Nepalese countryside along with the mountain sceneries. We will drive on a paved road from Kathmandu to Dhading Bensi. But the driving from Dhading -bensi to Arughat will be off-road. Upon reaching Arughat a major town in the region we drive further towards Sotikhola. Overnight at Sotikhola Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).

  • Day 4 : Sotikhola- Maccha Khola [900m] 7hrs

    After breakfast we crossing of the bridge, trek through the beautiful sal forests trail ascend onto a ridge above huge rapids on the Budhi Gandaki. Upon reaching Khursane the rocky trail weaves its way up and down past two tropical waterfalls on a steep, rocky trail climbing to the side of a cliff. Finally makes its ways way down and pass few rice terraces and around Gurung village of Labu-bensi, further climb behind a rocky outcrop, where the valley opens up and the Budhi Gandaki. Dropping to the sandy river walk along rounded stones before climbing over a side ridge. We still head down again to the river and cross another suspension bridge to reach Machha Khola village. Overnight in Machha Khola Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).

  • Day 5 : Trek Maccha Khola to Jagat [1410m] 7hrs.

    The trail makes ups and downs and eventually crosses Tharo Khola reach Khotlabensi. In our trek, we ascend and descends across a small hot spring in Tatopani. From here we climb over another ridge then cross the Budhi Gandaki on a suspension bridge, we trek over on a wide-crafted staircase, then across a landslide and over a point to Dobhan. We crossing a suspension bridge over the Yaru Khola, climb another stone stairs then drop to the river and climb more stones stairs to the Tharo Bharyang. Trek continues to the west bank of the Budhi Gandaki walks along the river climb up towards the village of Jagat. Overnight in Jagat Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).

  • Day 6 : Jagat to Chisapani [1660m] 6 hrs trek.

    Today after checking ACAP, our trail ascent a rocky ridge to Salleri and then descend to Sirdibas the valley widens a bit as the trail continues to Ghatkhola, upstream to a long suspension bridge. A trek continues to Gurung village, Philim valley is famous Japanese made school and the police station. Walk past Philim to the north across a forest with the views of the narrow valley reach Chisapani. Includes meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

  • Day 7 : Chisapani to Chumling [2386m] 7hrs trek.

    Cross Ekle Bhatti gorge, after half an hour trek we get to see a big beautiful waterfall and enter the pine tree forests. The trail descends to Tsum Valley ascent through pine and rhododendron forests. Enjoy the views of Himalchuli mountains at 7893m and Buddha Himal from Lokpa a small and beautiful village. Trek down towards Lungwa Khola and climb jick difficult trail further few hour to north through pine and rhododendron forest we get Gumlung. Pass Siyarkhola arrive at Chumling from where we can view Shringi Himal, you can visit Chumling gompas and the stone street of the village. Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

  • Day 8 : Chumling to Chhokhangparo [3010m] 6hrs trek.

    An early breakfast cross hanging bridge into the opposite bank, enjoy with the beautiful views of Ganesh Himal. Trek past Rainjam to Serpukhola pass another suspension bridge we reach Gho village. Trek continues upstream to Tsum takes us to the village of Chhokangparo. This is another viewpoint if weather permitting we enjoy the views of Himalchuli 7893m, and Ganesh Himal 7140m. Night stay at Chhokhangparo. Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

  • Day 9 : Chhokhangparo to the Nile [3360] 6hrs trek.

    Trek begins above the Chhokhang-paro through the Lamagoan cross suspension bridge to the Rachen Gompa, known as Nunnery Gompa rest some time then trek continue through the villages Lar, Phurbe and Pangdun the old historic Stupa of the Buddha in a way crossing the village of Chhule which is closed to the Nile. If you wish to visit Monastery of Chhule which is located in a top of the Nile area. Overnight in the Nile. Includes meal (breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

  • Day 10 : Nile to Mu Gompa [3700m] 2-3hrs trek.

    Today is very short trek we almost closed to Tibetan border. Trek west bank of the valley through the Tibetan landscape walk ascend to the Mu Gompa, You can visit the Monastery Dhephu Doma Gompa rest for the day. Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).

  • Day 11 : Acclimatize Mu Gompa visit nearby.

    Today we make a sightseeing of the whole Mu Gompa Region. Mu Gompa is the largest monastery in the region. The Gompa lies at the highest and most remote part of the Tsum Valley. After exploring the Mu Gompa area, you may also consider the option of getting to the base of Pika Himal (4865m).

  • Day 12 : Mu Gompa to Burgi village [3245m] 5hrs trek.

    An early breakfast our trek back through Chhule and Phurbe east bank of Shiar Khola. After few hour trek, we arrive Burgi village a beautiful village in this area. Trek upstream to the Milarepa’s cave (Piren Phu) which is known for its mesmerizing sights of Poshyop glacier, Kipu Himal, and Churke Himal. Included meals (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

  • Day 13 : Burgi Village to Chumling [2386m] 6hrs trek

    Our trek continues with greenery nature downhill to chhokang paro from where again walk dwon to Gho. Continues trek down to arrive at the bridge over the Sarpukhola. Walk along the low Tsum valley takes to the Chumling. Included meal (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

  • Day 14 : Chumling to Philim [1570m] 7hrs trek.

    Today our trail continues to Lokpa where stop for lunch, then the trail move ahead we enjoy the beautiful samba Falls. Our trek passes through the Philim village that leads to the Ganesh Himal Base Camp finally arrive Philim. Included meal (breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

  • Day 15 : Philim to Khorlabensi [970m] 7hrs trek.

    Today our trek leads from Philim to Kharlabensi via Jagat, Tatopani heading down to Sirdibas pass Jagat. The arid Tibetan climate now gives way to subtropical green vegetation. We arrive at Tatopani a hot spring if you feel like to take the hot bath you may dip yourself in the hot spring relax your tired body by soaking yourself in the hot spring. If not trek continues up and down to Khorlabensi. We stop our trek for the day Included meal ( Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

  • Day 16 : Khorlabensi to Sotikhola [700m] 7hrs trek.

    Today the trek path followed the rocky ravine. Walk down to the river cross the Machha Khola then walk along the Budigandaki River to reach Gurung village of Labu-bensi. We pass waterfalls and narrow steep rocky trail and cross Budigandaki suspension bridge arrive at Soti Khola. Included meals (breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

  • Day 17 : Soti Khola to Arughat drive to Kathmandu 3 hrs trek and 8hrs drive.

    Last day of the trek our trail ascends to Kyorpani and descends down to the cascading waterfall cross the Arkhet Khola. Walking along the Budi Gandaki river valley bank arrive Arughat bus station. Drive continue to Kathmandu along the bank of Marshyangdi, Trishula River with splendid views of green hills, mountain and farming terraces, and village on both sides of the road arrive Kathmandu. Complete our Nepal adventure trek in the evening we will be having farewell dinner.

  • Day 18 : Departure trip ends

    Your adventure in Nepal come to end today we can exchange picture that we captured during the trek. A representative of our company will take you to the airport 3 hrs before scheduled flight to the International airport
