Royal Chitwan National Park is located 85 miles (140km) west of Kathmandu, Chitwan National Park area is 332 square miles (932 square kilometers) the tropical forest considering of grassland, Sal forest, and Rivers rainforest. One of the most diverse wildlife areas in Nepal gives the opportunity to see tigers one horn rhinos, crocodiles, bear with Asian elephants and more than 44 different birds it has 68 subtropical species of mammals. Park has habitat also attracts more than 500 residential and migratory species of birds place to explore flora and fauna. Nepal First National Park establishes 1973. It sits in the inner Terai lowland and boasts the largest elephant breeding center in Asia .you shall encounter many baby elephant.

  1. Day 1 Drive to Chitwan

    After breakfast in Kathmandu, depart for Chitwan at 07:00, driving along the scenic Prithivi Highway. The bus will make a stop for snacks and refreshments during the 5-hour trip. In Chitwan, you will be met by a tour representative who will take you to your hotel for a welcome drink and time to freshen up. You will get a safari briefing by your nature guide while having lunch. Enjoy a short rest, before visiting a typical village of the ethnic Tharu people. Take a short hike or ox ride through the village and visit the museum.

    Watch the sunset from the riverbank, before dinner and a program on Nepalese culture at the hotel.

  2. Day 2 Explore Day

     After an early morning, enjoy a 90-minute elephant safari in the community forest. Return to the hotel for breakfast and proceed for further adventure excursions, which can include a canoe ride, jungle walk looking for tigers, leopards, and all the other magnificent animals of the jungle, or a visit to an elephant breeding farm, where you can delight to the elephants’ bath time.

  3. Day 3 Bird Watching Tour - Return to Kathmandu

    Spend the morning bird watching in the National Park. Chitwan attracts the largest number of birds in Nepal, including several endangered species. Depending on the time of year, common sightings will include Brahminy Ducks, kingfisher, egret, and the Paradise Flycatcher.

    Return to the hotel for breakfast and then proceed to Kathmandu. You will take the same route back to the city, and meet a tour representative in the evening to discuss your experience.

Nepal Travel Expedition donates 10% of its annual revenue to Sherpa Outdoor Foundation Orphan Children Home Which is Located in Lalitpur one can visit while you are in Nepal after or before the trip.  We support Children's for Food, School, Clothes, Medicine also supporting stationery materials to Government School which is located at Lamjung district trying to build a library for them where they could find a different book to read. For this project, we are trying to collect donations.

One of the major activities of Sherpa outdoor Children home in Lalitpur is fully conducted and collaborate with Nepal Travel Expedition and sister concern organization Nepal wildlife safari. The Volunteering concern programmed delivered by Nepal Travel Expedition and Sherpa Outdoor Foundation aims to mobilize a team of experts and interested individuals as an economic measure in providing human capital for education, health, community to share teaching skill various Government school in a different part of the country and community to delivered humanity skills also in our children home.
