Trip Information

 Chitwan National Park is situated in the southern region of Nepal, the jungle of Chitwan National Park awaits you with wildlife experiences like no other. Visit in search of the majestic Royal Bengal tiger and watch the Greater one-horned Rhinoceros roam free, while the great Asiatic Elephant move. Chitwan National park is the closest and ideal place to visit for wildlife and nature tours among other national parks.

Witness real wilderness in the jungles of Chitwan, visitors go for a jeep safari in the depths of the forest, or riding a silent canoe and catch wildlife by surprise. Jungle safari accompanied by an experienced guide who knows the jungle like the back of his hand. Along the marshes and rivers, you will find gharial and marsh mugger crocodiles basking in the sun of the river bank. These reptiles spend a lot of time lying on the sandy banks giving you plenty of time to watch them.

You can also spend more quality time visiting the elephant and gharial breeding centers, a perfect way to educate your kids about these animals and their lifecycle.

Within the National Park, there are lots of hotels and lodges. Observe local tribal life by visiting a local Tharu village, where you will be welcomed inside their traditional mud houses and treated as a valued guest. You will be knowing the ultimate jungle experience by unwinding next to the large campfire, watching the mesmerizing Tharu stick dance, and listening to their soothing folk songs.

The National Park is Nepal’s first national park and lies at the foot of the Mahabharat range in the inner Terai lowland of Chitwan. Covering an area of 932 sq. km this is one of the most well-preserved conservation areas in South Asia.

 Chitwan National Park has a fascinating variety of mammals, reptiles, and birds that preserves some of the last habitats for endangered species like the greater one-horn rhinoceros and royal Bengal tiger.

The discount is subjected to increase with the number of people in your group. Bigger the group better the discount so group bookings are highly encouraged.

Donation and Charity!

Nepal Travel Expedition donates 10% of its annual revenue to Sherpa Outdoor Foundation Orphan Children Home Which is Located in Lalitpur one can visit while you are in Nepal after or before the trip.  We support Children's for Food, School, Clothes, Medicine also supporting stationery materials to Government School which is located at Lamjung district trying to build a library for them where they could find a different book to read. For this project, we are trying to collect donations.

One of the major activities of Sherpa outdoor Children home in Lalitpur is fully conducted and collaborate with Nepal Travel Expedition and sister concern organization Nepal wildlife safari. The Volunteering concern programmed delivered by Nepal Travel Expedition and Sherpa Outdoor Foundation aims to mobilize a team of experts and interested individuals as an economic measure in providing human capital for education, health, community to share teaching skill various Government school in a different part of the country and community to delivered humanity skills also in our children home.
